Denise Plant grew up in southern California in the 80’s where she was inspired by new wave music, Disneyland, and so much style.
After graduating in illustration from Brigham Young University Denise gained experience working in a myriad of art professions including, teaching, graphic design, product design for food crafting, adult and kids’ crafts, scrapbooking, and home decor.
She is a big fan of vintage everything, with particular interest in the 1960’s. She enjoys finding humor in ironic and sometimes macabre things. These themes often surface in her work.
Denise currently resides in a 1970’s fixer-upper in the mountainous landscapes of Utah with her husband, three children, and enormous Airedale Terrier, Sherlock.
